Registration
Registration for the 16th ECMetAC Days is open until September 9, 2025.
Registration & fees
The conference site is the Empa Academy located on the Empa Campus in Dübendorf, Switzerland, where all conference activities (workshop, lectures, poster session) will take place. All participants will be accommodated at Hotel Harrys Home, which is in walking distance to the Empa Campus. Participants will be accommodated in single and double rooms - PhD students and postdocs will be preferentially accommodated in double rooms.
The ECMetAC budget assigned to the conference allows covering the accommodation and conference expenses for up to three participants from a given ECMetAC member institution (to be specified in the registration form). This includes covering the accommodation for three nights from Nov 24 to Nov 27, 2025.
In case you might need to travel to Dübendorf already a day before for logistic reasons, please drop a line to . We will get in touch with the hotel.
Participants not included in the quota of three participants per ECMetAC member institution will receive an invoice issued by Empa to cover their expenses (bed and breakfast, meals, coffee breaks, welcome reception, poster session snacks and conference dinner). The pricelist is available here, there is no conference fee.
Cancellation
Important note
The registration fees do not include any insurance of the participants against any accidents, illness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to have adequate personal insurance before attending the conference.
The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organizers should the conference be canceled due to unexpected political or economic events or generally by "force majeure", or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes. With registration, the participant accepts this.
